I am not in-network on any insurance panels. However, many PPO policies will cover a percentage of out-of-network (OON) mental health treatment as part of their benefit – sometimes up to 70%. I am happy to provide CA, ID, UT & OR residents with documentation for you to submit for reimbursement. Plans do vary, so it’s recommended you research that info in advance.

I also can accept HSA/FSA funds like a debit card.

Contact your member services or benefits administrator to research your potential reimbursement for Out-Of-Network (OON) providers. Here are some questions to help guide you:

  • -Individual therapy: 90834

  • -Couples therapy: 90847 and add-on code 99354

• When is the beginning of my plan year?

• What is my OON deductible and has it been met?

• What is my reimbursement rate and the max allowable amount per therapy session?

• What is the process to file and receive my reimbursement?

You’ll pay my rate in full, and I will create a monthly superbill statement for you to submit to your insurance company. Please note that a period of mental health assessment and diagnosis from me will be required for a superbill.

Yes, I absolutely do! Sex and Trauma are my areas of focus but I am able to work with a wide range of presenting general issues and desires for a fuller or more enjoyable life.

Generally I meet with clients on a bi-weekly or weekly cadence. Like any approach to creating change (such as going to the gym) the more consistent and committed one is, the increased likelihood better results will be yielded.

I utilize a trauma & sexual health-informed approach to treating issues often called “sex and/or porn addiction.” I am also seasoned in utilizing the CSAT model and have worked in residential settings using this approach. Please see my page on “Sex Addiction” to read more about my approach.

SE sessions are gentle and do not require the client to talk through their trauma histories in depth. Often an SE session includes the practitioner supporting the client’s
nervous system in slowing down to re-establish connection to the felt sense of being embodied and the resources and natural ways of healing that the body is designed to do. Trauma is too much, too soon, for too long, trauma healing with SE is just enough, at a tolerable pace, for just enough time. SE is an empowering approach that honors the intelligence of each individuals’ presenting challenges as wise versus pathological.

Rarely is sex only about sex. Therefore, sex therapy can look very similar to regular therapy (including emotional processing and sex specific psycho-education) yet also often includes take-home exercises & experiences to put into practice. While it is important to build comfort with talking about sex, unpacking myths and misconceptions, and increasing one’s cognitive understanding of fact-based elements of sexuality, experiential learning, un-learning, and re-learning are paramount. I work with clients at a pace of trust, meaning there is no protocol or timeline that works for everyone.

During a NARM session, clients are supported in illuminating unconscious cognitive and physiological patterns that keep them stuck in ways of thinking, feeling and behaving that prevent them from living the life they desire. The approach is based in the present moment and harnesses the power of curious inquiry to build more capacity to hold seemingly conflictual or contradicting desires.

My hourly fee is $200/hour for individuals, $240/hour for couples, and $75/wk for group therapy.

I do maintain a number of sliding-scale and pro-bono slots for marginalized populations such as BIPOC and LGBTQIA folks. At this time, all of these slots are currently full. You are always welcome to share your interest in working with me and I can add you to a waitlist for when a spot becomes available.
